How could be Aquila like.

As Assassin's  Creed Rogue had the most advance naval warfare with new items like Carronade and
Puckle gun, I just thought Aquila could be just more better. As Assassin's Creed 3 is coming as
remastered with 4K textures, new fighting moves...

Assassin's creed is dead

In my opinion, the last "true" assassin's creed game was Revelations. The new games that come out doesn't dare to go as deep into their story as the old games did. I miss the old feeling of being a part of the brotherhood. The most recent games simply seem...

To some degree I think all old school fans agree to what you are saying, but it is a business. I'm sure that if they hadn't changed the formula the series wouldn't be relevant anymore or even exist. That being said, I think you are selling Origins short. I think it was a good combination of the old school feel and narrative we are used to with some of the added mechanics the series would later try to employ. The argument that could be made is that it has nothing to do with the assassin's but like I've said on this platform before, the game does deal with a modern assassin setting as well. Even if we don't like it.

I doubt I will ever buy Origins and Odyssey, they are not AC games anymore and I unfortunately am not a big fan of any other game than Assasin's Creed games. I appreciate the historical facts that are in all of these games but still, the spirit of the games are gone. Player can sense in the game they are made to sell more and more and we all know where it will lead and it can be seen from these games.

Unlockable Outfits and Armor

What are some of your favorite outfits you can unlock in the games? Two of my personal favorites are the Armor of Altair in AC2 and the Armor of Brutus in AC Brotherhood, respectively.

yeah I prefer armor of brutus simply because of the fact that with the dagger of brutus it changes combat slightly and i don't have to waste time and worst of all money on trying to repair them

New AC games makes me sad...

This series meant a lot for me when i was younger and still does. Thanks to these games i never felt alone, i was part of the brotherhood, but since origins, i do NOT have this feeling anymore. Origins and Odyssey are great games but it is not AC anymore. I...

Also, I didn't grind at all in Origins, not once did I feel like I had to, I just played naturally while exploring every area thoroughly and completing each question mark and side quest as I came on it. I like to 100% a game that I'm enjoying, and unlike many AC games, the difficulty was smooth with no real spikes. The missions and forts were designed well to accomodate really any play style, so if you want to approach it as super stealth assassin without killing anyone except your target, they were designed to let you do it, while also allowing for satisfying combat if you want to do that. I never once felt limited in my choices, which added to immersion massively. This also makes sense in-game since it was before "The Creed" was really nailed down and before the Brotherhood was an official entity.

I think you must have evolution, you simply can not have chapter after chapter of the same old same old. That for a business selling an experience would be suicide in more ways than just one. So I don't have a problem with change, the leap from AC: Syndicate to AC: Origins was a great leap forward in many respects. The only real issue I see in change is not that it happens but what is the nature of that change and to what degree it happens. Take for argument sake the first seven episodes of AC on PS3, these games where fundamental the same in that they all carried over riding story ark of The Knights Templar v The Assassin in a battle for the conscious will of mankind with various pieces of Eden being sort to that end. Origins comes alone and suddenly this fundamental story ark has been relegated to little more than a foot note with the odd playable scene at an archaeological dig site. Origins predecessor, Odyssey seems no better. I am sixty hours plus in playing Odyssey and so far I have encounter one playable scene of less than five minutes relating to said story ark. Like I said change is fine and there was nothing wrong with making it look different or even operate different but when you fundamentally change what the game is about. Really, what is the point? Origins was about the birth of the Assassin cult and one man's rampage for revenge, I get that but sixty hours into Odyssey, I am not sure what it is about? The only reference to AC as a whole is one 5 minute cut scene, a broken spear and the forge of the makers. I don't know but I tend to agree Odysseys lurch towards being a RPG was one change too far and as a result the game not only seems tedious but the whole concept of Assassin's Creed has lost it's charm. May the Father of......oh....never

Future of the series

Hopefully, the team at Ubisoft will read this. I loved how Assassin's Creed Odyssey delved into Greek mythology. Here's an idea of what the next game could be about. I was thinking the storyline could take place in the Viking Age, with some missions delving...

Another idea I have for the next game is that it should be set in Japan, maybe during the feudal period. How cool does that sound?

Actually I'm curious to see a AC Game in The time of Alexander the Great or babylonia or even Genghis Khan because by my count their the era's we've yet to see based upon the sanctuary statues in ACII and Brotherhood

Greetings. It would appear that the site has been off-line for a while. This is the first time in many months I have been able get this far and type something. Maybe the Father of understanding is not so understanding after all??

I agree Hadron, you too should change to the Creed and finally leave the less understanding father. :D
