New information about the assassins creed origins DLC

Ubisoft has announced a Season Pass for Assassin's Creed Origins. There will be two story extensions after the release, together they cost 40 euros. Also, the game gets a number of new gameplay options that are free.

In January, Ubisoft released the first extension, entitled The Hidden Ones. This takes place in the years after Assassin's Creed Origins, in which the Brotherhood must fight against Roman troops in a new area. The expansion raises the maximum level, which enables players to make their characters stronger.

In March, the second extension, called The Curse of the Pharaohs, follows. Egyptian mythology is at the heart of this expansion, in which players must fight against life-threatened pharaohs. This expansion also takes place in a new environment. In the second dlc, the maximum level is raised again and new skills are also available.

In addition, the Season Pass includes two packages of in-game items like outfits, weapons and a means of transport. These are available from November. Additionally, buyers of the dlc package receive 500 Helix Credits as soon as the game ends. The Season Pass costs 40 euros, all content is already included in the Assassin's Creed Origins Gold Edition.

Assassin's Creed Origins will be released on October 27th, but after the release, Ubisoft also promises a number of free extensions for players. These are "challenges" and gameplay options, including The Trials of the Gods. These are end-battles against Egyptian gods, which take place as events. Via The Nomad's Bazaar, players are given a daily quest to earn prizes.

In early 2018, the game will get a Horde Mode as a free extension. In this, players fight against an endless mass of enemies in the Gladiator Arena. It is a single player mode in which scores of friends can be compared. Discovery Tour will also be available in early 2018; That's an educational mode that changes the game's creator into an "interactive museum" about Ancient Egypt without fights or time pressure.

Definitely this news reinforces my original decision to go with the digital gold edition for xbox one, I'm impressed what with i've seen of Origins overall thus far and this season pass future content certainly looks to be weaving the added bonus of more story driven content vs the mystical elements that make up Egyptian mythology. So bravo to Ubi team for giving us the best of both worlds with this roadmap of future content and I can't wait to see what you guys come up with next.

I saw a sort of trailer for these DLC and it looks like the 2 mission that comes next year are at least quite long in gameplay time, not only 1 hour or so. I just hope they don't have too many bugs and shit.
