As I posted on your page : 100 % agree with you about the modern day. Hopefully, they have save the best of it for the DLC. Since a good share of players do not buy Assassin's Creed for the modern day, I think it's a clever strategy to implement most of it in the DLC. However, if we do not get to see the end of Juno arc in game, it's an absolute disgrace. I spent as much money on comics last year than I do on a game, if it's just to follow an irrelevant story, I'll just stop here. The game was good, but the original AC feeling is fading. At the end, Syndicate was only one step to the perfection in term of modern day (just need some 3rd person action). AC Origins is a major step back following me. A lot of pressure is put on the DLC. One final things, they use to find plausible explanation for all the sci-fic things in AC. Now it's seems they just put things and don't care. Rather than referring to quest, they could have stick with genetic memories. Only referring to main genetic memories that have to be relive in a chronicle order, and secondary genetic memories (kind of everyday memories that could be less imprinted in the genetic). Trying to please large public, leads them to lost their ways... My favorite AC was Brotherhood. Perhaps a return to Rome will be a salvation!
