Has Ubisoft Abandoned Initiates?

So does the creation of the council mean that the Initiates site is basically done and forgotten? I never got to do the alpha for it, but i did enjoy the Unity side to it

A good question, I asked some people from the support but no feedback and no comment on that. Edit: Yes they have, I received an email yesterday from the support team that says currently the work has stopped on Initiates.

i have mixed feelings about it. On one hand its an awesome way to keep track of your AC progress, and when it served its purpose for unlocking stuff it was great, but it just didn't do well when it was live during unity launch. i wish i knew about the alpha version because that sounded waaaaay cooler

Initiates had some amazing concepts, and the games still have great big Initiates buttons on the main menus. I was really sad to see it go, and sincerely hope it makes a comeback of sorts through AC Council.
