I JUST THINK...

An RPG game or not, I believe that we should receive a game with an actual stealth mechanics, to such I

could say improving the stealth mechanics including cover, sight and of course the assassinations!

Furthermore, it should not interrupt with the whole RPG mechanics we have seen in games such as AC

origin. Me and many more would appreciate the returns of parkour, as it made or intended to be made

in AC Unity.

P.S

let's make AC great again! or atleast an AC game...

Greetings. I do appreciate your point, all though as a Templar fan I can not seen to be promoting the assassination of members of the order. But If I can take my fan boy hat off for one moment, there is a lot of things I do not like about Assassin's Creed Odyssey, from its poorly written script, mish mash story line to unaddressed glitches and unrealistic mod engravings. There are two things that annoy me the most. The 1st you have touched upon, Actual stealth mechanics. I think the important word here is, actual. There are stealth mechanics with in AC:O but the majority of it is linked to the incessant murdering of one or other of the Polemarchs and their camp/castle captains. Gone is the importance of stealth actually of being any real importance to any of AC. All it is, is get into, kill the required individuals (and everyone in the camp if you are seen), get your stuff and get out. You can only do that so often before it starts to wear mightily thin. Let me say this, I have been putting in the effort into getting most of everything done in AC:O and I am at about 170 hours but I have reached the stage now that when I discover an "Undiscovered location" and it is outpost, camp, castle or whatever with polemarches and captains to kill, it is like ho-hum who the hell cares. The second of these is Ubisoft need to take a step back and understand the difference between science fiction and science fantasy. From Assassins Creed (the original) right up to and including AC: Origins, the whole thing has been a pseudo science fiction political thriller about two organisations striving to find and fighting over alien artifacts in the past OR THE PRESENT for either the freedom or subjugation of human free will. This has all been done with realistically plausible way (in the sense, that yes it is possible that Aliens could exist). The thing with Odyssey is though it would seem that any plausibility has been sacrificed as matter of expediency to make the game more alluring to new players. I ask you, the host of mythical creatures inserted in Assassins Creed without any rhyme, reason or context to the story is one thing but to go a Black Smith and getting an engraving on a weapon that lets you apply fire damage (even underwater) is another thing (or to simply be under water without drowning for that matter). I apologize for this rant but hey, it is opinion, like or not**puts fanboy hat back on** and of course....May the Father of Understanding guide us (or at least Ubisoft back to soul of what Assassin Creed is)

Wow I just started on the council and I never thought I'd agree with a Templar but props to you, I agree.

I completely agree with you brother. We need the old gameplay back. At least the parkour.

I understand your point of view, I really love the stealth mechanics in previous ACs and of cozrse it's part of the credo, so I would wish this for the next ACs in which we'll play real assassins. The actual main characters in the "ancient" ACs aren't, they are mejais or mercenaries. In my opinion it's totally ok that a mejai or a mercenary isn't able to fight or to sneek like an assassin. It would kill the feeling i assume. But for a future AC in which we would play a real assassin by lore, I'll totally agree with you, there I need better stealth mechanics and less RPG-mechanics (for example when you stab someone with your hidden blade, he should be dead), to feel the "real" AC vibe
